This is the Hyper Shackle. There is always a need for more flex. Supple springs are one way, but that is not good on road. Well here's the answer, the Hyper Shackle. This shackle performs as normal on road. The normal vehicle weight is on the shackle and will not open. Offroad, the shackle opens up and allows for additional articulation. It is a simple idea that is a long time coming. This shackle is made of 1/2 inch plate, weighing in at 14 pounds each. They are built to handle and perform in extreme situations
The Hyper Shackle can be used on front or rear. We do not suggest the Hyper Shackle on shackle reversed front ends. Hyper Shackles are available for Land Cruisers, Mini Trucks and 4 Runners that are leaf sprung.

| Q:What about on-road performance, will they open up? |
| A: The actjust as normal shackle on the road and will not open. They are bearingthe weight of the Land Cruiser, they only open when the axle droops. |
| Q:Why can't I use Hyper Shackles with my shackle reversal? |
| A: Hyper Shacklesopen up and therefore the axle droops, this could lead to your front driveshaftseparating. If you use them on a Shackle Reversed front end, it isat your own risk. |
| Q:What amount of lift will I get with Hyper Shackles? |
| A: HyperShackles are 5.5 inches Bolt Hole to Bolt Hole, which is approxiamte 2.5"over stock length. This allows people to use them to level a rearwhen using a shckle reversal. |
| Q:Whay are Hyper Shackles wider than my other aftermarket shackles? |
| A: We buildthe Hypershackle slightly wider than the normal aftermarket or stock shackleto allow more flex. If they were tight against the bushing, theymay damage the shackle mount or spring. By making them just a slightbit wider, they allow the axle to swing in for more articualtion. DO NOT over tighten Hyper Shackle bolts, we have seen shackles that werebowed in, this will reduce opening and ruin bushings. |
